2023 Year Summer School Applications

In summer school;

· Detailed information and documents that will guide and inform our university students and guest students who want to take courses from our university's summer school are included in the attached files, before starting the summer school application procedures, it will be beneficial for all students to review the attached files.

· At our university, all courses of “Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution I – II”, ”Turkish Language I -II”, “Foreign Language (English) I – II” will be conducted through distance education method, and all other courses will be conducted through face-to-face education method.

· The midterm and final exams of the courses “Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution I – II”, ”Turkish Language I -II”, “Foreign Language (English) I – II” which will be conducted through distance education method, will be conducted face-to-face. The exam format will be determined by the instructor of the course and will be announced to the students in advance according to the determined schedule.

· A quota of 100 students has been set for all courses to be opened in the summer school by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Students of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine who cannot register for the courses due to the quota being full will be evaluated outside the quota if they apply to their own unit with a petition, and the registration procedures can be carried out by the unit student affairs.

· In the 2023 Summer School, the courses common between units;

Ø Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution I-II, Turkish Language I-II, Foreign Language (English) I-II courses taught in all academic units will be conducted in the Faculty of Education,

Ø The common courses taught in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Bucak Zeliha Tolunay School of Applied Technology and Business Administration, and Bucak Faculty of Business Administration will be combined in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences as specified in the attached list. The courses that will be opened after the applications will be evaluated and announced by the 2023 Summer School Coordination Board according to the number of students, ECTS, and credit status of the courses.

Ø Elective formation courses will be opened in the Faculty of Education.

In Summer School Applications;

· MAKÜ student, in order to take the course that is not opened in the unit where they are registered, from another unit within the university without losing their rights, should apply with the application form from the addresshttps://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=MAKU and after the application, a unit board decision is needed.

· MAKÜ student, in case the summer school courses are not opened in our university's faculties/schools/conservatories/vocational schools, can take courses from other universities without losing their rights, by applying with the application form from the addresshttps://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=DIGER and after the application, a unit board decision is needed.

· Students registered at other universities, by applying from the addresshttps://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/summer_app/ and by logging in to the addresshttps://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/
